NewFormat Improvisation seeks to advance the artistic possibilities of theatrical improv by producing diverse programming and providing educational opportunities that explore the boundaries of improvisation and related artforms.

He is of the youngest graduates of The Second City Conservatory in Chicago in 1999, and has been working in Improvisation for his entire life. Jason admits his teaching style is different. He likes to use phrases like "paint with moments" and "Life is Improv, and improv is an artform therefore life is the art" *ALL Classes are designed for improvisors and actors that are ready to learn and increase their creative range. Level N-(Basic) Personal confidence,Silence, Group Confidence, Object Work, Space Work, Agreement, Naming, Justification. Tandem performance with established improv group.8wks@ $250 Level F-(Intermediate) Emotion,Personal effects work, Status, Naming, Narrative Styles, removing,exiting, history etc. One performance at NY venue.9wk@ $250 (weds) Level I- (Advanced) Aesthic, Advanced narrative styles, Social Inlays, "Structure" development, improvisational directing. Two perfomances and establish NY venue 10wk@ $250 (thurs) Conceiving Level (Advanced) Directors lab. This class is designed for persons interested in creatingand directing their own improvisational show and\or how to speak to a varied group of outgoing artists to achieve that goal. Six performances. Two 12wk sessions @ $450 (Sunday) Improvisers\Actors are paid and selected from Levels "N" "F" and\or "I" levels. Monologue Coaching- $20 Scene Coaching- $30 Improv Coach-$30
